PERSONALITY: Coy, witty, playful, cunning and realistic. These words would sum Dakota up in a nutshell. Dakota's outlook on life seems to differ greatly from what is assumed to be the norm for a girl her age. She sees things for what they really are instead of what she wishes they could be, some call her pessemistic, but that's not quite it.
They say a person can be judged by the company they keep. In a friend, Dakota looks for someone smart, for starters, or at least someone willing to learn. She cannot stand the willfully ignorant and has no patience for stupid. She looks for loyalty, she can get into a bit of trouble if she's caught from time to time and needs friends who will not only support her in any effort (devious in nature or not) but she needs to trust them to back her up, not narc on her or provide some sort of voucher should the need arise.
Her sense of humor can run a bit...twisted sometimes, so she needs people who tolerate her little quirks and won't look at her like she's got three heads if she make a joke involving something unusual or cruel. Some people who observe her toying with people as a bad thing. Dakota likes to get under people's skin and find little weak spots. She likes to dazzle, mesmerize and leave people confused but intrigued. She's not mean, she just has her own core morals. The way she sees it the world works a certain way and we have to live with it.
Though normally reserved, she fights for her friends and her right to speak her mind. Individuality is such a difficult thing to keep these days. One doesn't have to stand out too much one way or another but everyone has a right to be who they are. If that person's a cruel, warped individual, that's who they are, but if they've got a heart of gold, then fine, whatever!
The point is that everyone is someone and Dakota does not take kindly to being silenced. It makes her angry and she rarely takes it sitting down. Metaphorically speaking, anyway. She's likely to retaliate in a more covert manner than simply shouting her opinion louder. That won't get me anywhere. And her friends, of course. She expects total loyalty from them, so why wouldn't she provide the same quality in herself?

WEALTH STATUS: Wealthy.
BIRTHPLACE: London, England, though she grew up in Rome, Italy.
CURRENT RESIDENCE: 21 Grimmauld Place, in England.
HISTORY: Dakota never knew her paternal mother and father; she was placed in an orphanage at the age of one and later adopted by an Italian muggle woman named Calypso Zucco, who had a huge obsession with Mythological Greek and Egyptian Figures. After taking her in, shipping her off from London, England to Rome, Italy to live with her, Dakota made many friends in her muggle High School and became very well known throughout the capital of Italy. She was blessed with the nickname Coco, which was given to her when she met her three band mates and best friends, Nikos (18) and Nasos Stavros (16), and James Fligelstone (16) at the age of eleven during her first day of school, because she used to drink hot coco with chocolate shavings, whipped cream, and a flake.
As the three grew up together, they became really close, told each other almost everything, and formed a band, naming Dakota as manager, singer, and lead guitarist, whilst Nikos played the base, Nasos the electric, with James banging on the drums. Sometimes on the slower songs though, a keyboard or grand piano would be brought out and she would play that instead of the guitar, but they didn’t play that many slow songs for they were a teenage rock band. When Dakota turned thirteen, they were finally able to record a few of their songs onto a CD and send them off to a great record company that responded almost immediately with a yes. They named themselves "Riots and Myths" and became well famous.
During one of their concerts though, in 1979, something rather extreme happened. The stage manager had gotten Dakota angry, not allowing her to be lifted up onto the stage by the trap door, and she ran onto stage with the boys in a really bad mood. Her songs were more vocal and powerful and her forehead was sweating more than it usually did from the power of her angelic singing. She was gritting her teeth as she sang the last verse of their last song of the concert, when all of a sudden all the electricity blew and the arena filled with smoke. The odd thing was that Sphinx actually felt them blow. Being completely confused about what happened, she was frozen in the centre front of the stage and the boys had to drag her off by her arms for the smoke was beginning to drain her of all her oxygen and fires were beginning to spread. The band watched as the fire engines came along and cleared it up because the stage manager told them they’d go back on once it was all gone, but all the people from the crowds had gone home because it had taken so long. So, the quartet began the long journey home in Dakota’s green convertible – the gang had all been aloud to take their driving test’s early because they were famous.
On the way home though, another disaster struck! There was a large group of people all dressed in black cloaks with their hoods up blocking the roads. Nikos got out of the car to ask them all to clear out, but one of them reached out and grabbed hold of his neck with a deadly white hand, lifting him into the air and choking him to death. With gasps of shocks, the other three jumped out of the car and ran over, but they were thrown back off their feet, Dakota landing on her car, shattering the glass of the window and breaking her arm, glass also sticking into the back of her neck so she could barely breathe at all. The white, white man came stalking over, throwing a now lifeless Nikos back into a tree at the side of the road, and lifted Dakota up in the air with a cruel laugh, pushing the glass further into her neck with his spidery long fingers. Dakota kicked him in the chest, but all that did was make his hood fly off, revealing a man with blood red eyes, no hair, and no nose, who looked a bit like a snake.
The unknown man started going on about her being a witch, telling Sphinx how he could join their side, help them, and live forever, or die along with her three best friends. She didn’t want them to die, she didn’t want to die, and yet she was curious to find out about this... side. But before she could answer though, there were flashes of light and appeared lots more men and some women. A stunner shot the scary man back and someone grabbed hold of her arm. She looked up to see a man with long, brown hair and a dashing smile who told her she’d be okay, and then she looked around to see all her friends, including Nikos who was now dead, disappearing with other people who weren’t in the black cloaks. There was a battle going around the road, but before she could figure out how or why, she also disappeared and was dragged into a nice little cottage, and almost immediately fell unconscious as she was placed onto the table and someone bit into her neck, long, sharp teeth sinking in.
When she woke up she felt nothing but a pain in her neck. The nice people crowded around her and she saw all her friends were awake, apart from Nikos of course, with the exact same teeth marks as her in their necks. The group were told they’d become Vampires and when the four of them freaked out, they were told they were dyeing so they had no choice. Later on after everything had calmed and the gang had all taken an oddly tall glass of blood, the trio, no longer a quartet, were told of everything, about Wizards and Witches, Death Eaters and the Order of the Phoenix, and Albus Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort. Dakota also found out she was the daughter of Orion and Walburga Black, and the sister of the dashing young man who had saved her, Sirius Black, along with being the sister of a Death Eater named Regulus Black.
The trio stayed in Godric's Hollow with James, Lily, and little Harry Potter for a few weeks before going to Hogwarts where they learned all sorts of magic. Unfortunately, Lord Voldemort was the headmaster of the school and continiously kept calling her to his office to ask her to join him. Everytime she refused and everytime she was punished. The group went through their fifth, sixth, and seventh years with a lot of trouble, though with no trouble learning the magic, and were sad to leave such a magical place, but also glad they were now able to join the Order and get away from Lord Voldemort.
But that was not the case, I'm afraid. Because they were all Vampires, they had to be sent away to live with a large clan of their species. Dakota had a great time learning different Vampire techniques about fighting, hunting and other Vampiric things, and she was glad they taught her how to hunt animals instead of humans, keeping her deep need for human blood inside. Unfortunately, the boys did not like being Vampires and complained continiously. Eventually the clan killed them, right in front of Dakota's eyes. It had been years later, in 1990, when Dakota finally decided to run away and go back to living her life as a muggle. There was a problem though. She couldn't live with magic surrounding her and kept forgetting to keep her own to herself. Her brother, Sirius Black, finally called for her, in 1993.
Everything had changed drastically since she had left the world of magic, but she didn't care, she was glad to be back with her family and friends. She jumped on Sirius, Lily, and James in greeting, and even hugged Remus Lupin, the only werewolf she had gotten on with, extremely tightly because she was so happy to be back. But she was sent back to Hogwarts after a year, even though she protested over at least a hundred times. She dyed her hair platinum blonde and got herself a few muggle peircings and tattoos so as not to be recognized, but Lord Voldemort knew exactly who she was and once again began to torture her for information and the such, pestering her to finally give in and join. She got the same treatment from the Potions Master and Deputy Headmaster, Severus Snape, who she found attractive and soon developed a crush on. Now it is 1995, and nothing has changed since she went back to Hogwarts in 1993.

RP SAMPLE:
Scorpius squinted up at the sky above him. Gray clouds met his gaze, and he glared silently at them, as if his one glare would make them go away. A moment ago, he thought he’d felt a raindrop, and it was for this reason that he stared so critically upwards. But Scorpiussincerely hoped he was imagining things, for he hadn’t brought a coat and he had no intention of going inside just yet. He was hoping to spot some of his friends outside.
As if mocking him, a raindrop splashed directly into Scorpius' waiting violet eye. “Arghh, goddammit!” he exclaimed in his displeasure, tilting his head back into a normal position and frowning as he rubbed the eye. Well, bugger. He hadn’t thought a raindrop could do such things to a person. However, the sky seemed to have gotten his message, or perhaps just changed its mind, because he didn’t feel any more raindrops splashing down to Earth.
Just in case it did decide to rain suddenly, Scorpius sheltered himself away by sitting down on some steps that led up into Gringotts bank. Looking at a sign he could see, he read 'Knockturn Alley' from it, and from this, just in front of him, he could see a chained up gate and further along a dozen boarded up, darkened and dead shops. He knew Knockturn Alley very well, from its horrific shops to its creepy alleyways. Scorpius had been down there one too many times for his own liking, not that his family actually cared.
He stared down the derelict street, shivered, then got up to leave, all the while thinking to herself whether or not he should ventre down there. Scorpius may not be at all the evil type, unlike his horrible family, but he couldn't help but admit that he found the Dark Arts truly fascinating, and down Knockturn Alley you could find all different types of Dark Arts artifacts and the like. There was even a wand shop down there, and Scorpius was ashamed to admit it, but that was where his father had taken him to get his own wand.
With a sigh, Scorpius began to walk down the cobbled streets of Diagon Alley. He hadn't hung out with any of his wizard friends, nor his muggle friends, since summer started. His father, the evil man that he had become, had kept him in all summer so he could practice different types of dark spells, such as the Cruciatus Curse and the Imperius Curse. A grin crept onto his face though, as he realized that this was Diagon Alley; he could meet anyone here!
