THEODORE REMUS LUPIN
IS GONNA BE TOTALLY AWESOME !
shadows all around you as you surface from the dark
emerging from the gentle grip of night's unfolding arms
darkness, darkness everywhere, do you feel all alone?
the subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone

NICKNAMES: Ted or Teddy

DATE OF BIRTH: April 13, 1998
YEAR: 7th
HOUSE: DON'T FILL IN. WE'RE SORTING YOU!
AFFILIATION: Secret Angels
SEXUALITY: Straight

EYE DETAILS: Teddy can change his eye color as well, but actually knows what the original color is (or, at least, he says he does) and swears up and down they are gray-blue. Ocean blue if Victoire is asking.
HEIGHT/WEIGHT/BUILD: 6'0" / 163lbs. He sports an athletic build, only because he can never sit still for long. If he’s not running around doing something ridiculous then he’s out playing Quidditch with his practically-brothers-and-sisters from either the Potters or Weasleys or jogging around London or just… doing something else. No one knows how Teddy remains so fit (it’s almost as mysterious as his original hair color) when he scarfs down food as if he actually got some of the werewolf genes from his father.
FACE: Teddy has a homey face, tanned from the long hours outside with his "practically family" and a smile stretching ear to ear. His features are strong a prominent--straight nose, sharp cheekbones, large brooding eyes. And for those who knew him, Teddy looks remarkably like his father even with bright colored hair.
STYLE: He was never one for fashion—he’s the guy that's all about being “comfortable”. Even if that means going out in the world in a ratty t-shirt, jeans worn three days in a row, and shoes that change colors as often as his hair. Of course, it’s hard to focus on his less-than-perfect ensemble when his hair is so bright it makes one’s eyes water. And, of course, Teddy can never decide on a good eye color so those are always odd enough to distract people from his messy clothes.

BOGGART: Winding up all alone in the world: with no Potters and Weasleys to fill in where his parents couldn't be, no friends or girlfriends, no one at all. Just Ted, alone with stifling silence.
DEMENTOR: Teddy doesn't remember it--he wasn't even there. But after so many people telling him the story he practically has it memorized by heart. He can see his mother's stricken face when Bellatrix hit her with Killing Curse, his father's horror when he saw the end so close. Their deaths are his worst memory, his worst burden.
PATRONUS: WEREWOLF. His best memory, one he might have even made up himself, is of his parents. They are hovering over his crib, his mother with her bright pink bubblegum hair and his father's ever-present stern gaze. They are smiling at him and wiggling their fingers in his face. He's laughing. And that is the best memory--real or not--that he can conjure.
AMORENTIA: The forest, fresh baked brownies, cinnamon and spice (Christmas-like smells).
VERITASERUM: 1. He's totally been crushing on Victoire Weasley since before he can remember. 2. He's bitter about his parents' deaths and even jealous of everyone who does have living parents--no matter how many times he tries not to think about it.
STRENGTHS:
[/li][li] Ted is great with spells needed at a moment's notice, especially protective charms--he can shoot them off when needed, no nerves included.
[/li][li] Extremely loyal.
[/li][li] A master of disguise... 'cause, yeah, he's a Metamorphmagus.
WEAKNESSES:
[/li][li] Irrational when he's angry and does stupid things when his rage gets the best of him.
[/li][li] Awful at Potions in every way, shape, and form.
[/li][li] Bullheaded and stubborn most of the time, usually he never listens to reason.
PERSONALITY: Sometimes Ted is the best guy in the world: all smiles and sunshine, completely understanding, earnest in his efforts to help you out. He's like the big brother you never had. Ted likes honesty and saying things straight--never one to hide his feelings, always wearing them on his sleeve, just so you know exactly where you stand. Sometimes, Ted is your best friend.
And then... sometimes he's not.
It's like a flip of the coin, will Ted be awesome today or not? His anger is like a switch, one that is rapidly being flipped. He can be Mr. Right one second and then shouting and hitting walls the next. His anger comes unexpectedly and unfiltered, even irrationally sometimes. He doesn't listen to reason and can be completely stubborn about the matter, fuming for days. He tries hard to contain his explosive anger, but most of the time fails or doesn't try hard enough. He didn't inherit any of the Werewolf genes, but he could make you think twice about that.
But Ted is nice enough. He isn't going to blow up at anyone or any little thing. Generally he's kind to those who deserve it (at least, who he thinks deserves it) and is polite to most of the Professors. His family is number one in his life and he'd do anything for them. Even stupid things.

FATHER: Remus Lupin, Deceased, Werewolf, Order of the Phoenix, Gryffindor
SIBLINGS: None
OTHER IMPORTANT FIGURES: Harry Potter [Godfather]
Andromeda Tonks [Maternal Grandmother]
Any Potters or Weasleys.
WEALTH STATUS: Middle Class
BIRTHPLACE: London, England
CURRENT RESIDENCE: London, England
HISTORY: Everyone knows Ted is an orphan, just like they know his mum and dad were killed during the Battle of Hogwarts. They know his hair changes colors, because his mum was a Metamorphmagus. They all know he isn't a werewolf as some had feared he might become.
But Theodore, lovingly coined as "Ted", is a little more than all that.
He was born just after Easter in the year 1998. But his birth was a celebration and a time of mourning, because his grandfather also met his death just a few days before. Thus, he was named Theodore after the grandfather he would never meet.
Ted would also lose both his parents during the Battle of Hogwarts. His mother would be killed by her aunt Bellatrix Lestrange with a well-placed Killing Curse. Remus, his father, would be killed by Antonin Dolohov, though no one is sure if he was killed by the Killing Curse or some other spell.
Either way, Teddy was too young to remember much, if anything at all about them.
But Remus had made Harry Potter his godfather and Harry, quite frankly, was a pretty good godfather.
For a long time Ted didn't know he was much different from anyone else--sure, he could change his appearance to his will, but other than that he thought he was completely normal. His grandma took care of him just like his mother would have. Once Harry and Ginny had kids he had friends to play with. He even had the Weasleys, which was just like a never-ending parade of friends at his disposal. He was invited to every family event as if he was family.
Of course, once he was old enough, Harry explained why he didn't have a mum and dad like everyone else. He told him the story, just like he remembered it, nothing left out to spare his feelings. It was confusing at first to grasp--he had been certain he was a Potter or Weasley or maybe some kind of brother or sister--but when he realized he was actually alone, well... it changed things.
It just made him realize how precious family was.
Ted showed signs of magic early (well, obviously, because his hair changed colors daily) and it wasn't a surprise when his Hogwarts letter came. By that point he had merged into the Potter/Weasley family as if he was just another sibling. He was at Harry and Ginny's table so often they had a place for him. He rotated homes regularly, eating at different families every once and awhile. His grandma saw plenty of him, naturally, and he even learned to cook a few meals with her. Basically, he didn't think he was an orphan--he had a family.
At school Ted was average. Not magically stunning really, though he soared in DADA. Other subjects were... boring, to say the least. While he maintained perfect scores in DADA his other classes were sorely lacking. He was always too distracted in them--always chatting with other students rather than focusing on work, especially when the course bored him (which was, honestly, every class except DADA). Not to mention the constant distraction of Victoire Weasley, the girl on whom he had been crushing on since he can remember, didn't help his grades much.
Now Ted is a 7th year student still uncertain on where he wants to go in life and still unwilling to tell Victoire Weasley exactly how he feels. But he doesn't rush it and continues to busy himself with his "practically family". Even though the future looks bleak--and he strongly opposes anyone who aligns themselves with the dark--he feels his life, at least, is perfect enough.

RP SAMPLE:
Actually, it wasn't really competition coming up to the Obstacle Course. You might as well considered him roadkill for all he brought to the table--which was nothing. He looked confused, as if he wasn't sure what was going on. But this was the norm now. He never had any idea what was going on here. People handed him swords and armor and demanded he go try to chop the head off of a fellow student. They asked for him to try out a Chariot. They expected him to be able to fight monsters. All within the first week.
You know, at his other schools they usually started off with a nice tour. Maybe a lecture here and there.
They never asked him to try out the Obstacle Course, infamous for long painful deaths and a difficulty level of 9,999.
His only comfort was that he wasn't glowing. He had no halo around himself (he checked just a few minutes before, praying the Obstacle Course wouldn't be his end), so that meant he wasn't going to die. It didn't guarantee that he wouldn't lose a few limbs or go deaf or anything, but at least he would live to see tomorrow.
When Aden imagined an Obstacle Course it was something like this: plain wooden wall to climb, maybe some logs to jump on and get across, monkey bars, tires to hop through. Something like that.
Of course, at Half-Blood Academy they had a considerably different take on things.
Aden was dressed as usual: old faded t-shirt with Pikachu on it, khaki shorts his dad had given him for his fourteenth birthday (they were just a teensy bit too small) and old sneakers with his white socks pulled up. He looked like the dork he was. Though Aden wasn't concerned so much with his appearance these days. He was focused on getting out of this Academy alive. The teachers were making it extremely difficult.
He was dragging along with him a bronze sword. They had given him a scabbard to carry it in, but Aden could never put it on right and his leg was bruising from where the sword would bump on it as he walked. So, he opted to carrying it around. The only problem? He could hardly lift the thing. The heaviest object he'd ever had to deal with was his X-Box controller and that didn't ask for much strength. Thus the sword was dragged along the ground as he held the hilt with both hands.
Aden finally came upon the Obstacle Course and nearly fainted too. He had to lean on his sword for support. He looked horrified, his blue eyes rolling around in his head. Did they want to kill their students? What about No Child Left Behind? They were losing valuable government funding with this thing here! Who knew how many poor kids lost their lives because of this monster?
The blonde looked around and saw only one other person here: a pretty girl getting ready for the Course. She looked determined. Maybe this sort of thing was right up her ally: maybe she was a kid from Ares. She wasn't glowing so she would survive it. But what about Aden? He didn't care if he didn't have a halo. He was going to die.
"Uh, um, i-i-is this re-really the uh Obstacle Course?" He gasped, his knees shaking so hard they were knocking together.
