Lily Potter was out flying around the Quidditch Pitch trying to get faster at flying. Sure she was small and skinny and the right size for a chaser and the fact that Teddy was on the team it helped a bit because she had more faith with him couraging her on to get the quaffle especially when her spirits were low. Today however she was trying some of the tricks she had read about in the Quidditch book. Lucky for her Snape couldn't take it away as it wasn't a library book. It was her own copy and she had that in her book bag and couldn't wait to try them out and was out ther right now flying around trying them out.
She was still flying around when she realized that the sky was getting dark at all. She was really getting into the practice flying. It was only when her stomach growled really loud when she realized that it was getting late. She flew down to the ground and gather the stuff up and walked back towards the Castle when she looked at the time on her watch. "Shoot!" she said for a moment. It was pass curfew and she didn't like the fact that she was still outside at this point she ran to the entrance hall and opened the great big oak doors and looked around a bit and didn't see a Professor and shut the door quietly and started up the grand staircase.

Snape was on duty that night and as he was getting ready in his room the sky started to get dark. He hated to be awake during the night to be wasting time waiting for some student to think curfew wasn't for him and tried to go somewhere during that time. Of course he caught some student from time to time but not always and that make it boring sleepless long nights with nothing to do but wander around the castle with his wand on hand wishing for someone he could take points or give detention, depending of his mood.
He walked toward the ground floor to start his shift when the sky was completely dark and it was past curfew, when he opened the door it seemed his lucky stars were just shinning from him tonight. He was Lillian Potter trying to get back in from the school grounds with a broom on her hand. His smile grew bigger and bigger and he went to her without doing any noise. When he was right behind her his cleared his troath Well, it seems Potter blood carry on the troublemaking, doesn't it? He smiled, that was his favorite part, when the student turned back and the fear show in his face, in this case, the face of little Lilly Potter. How many points is going to be this time? Lillian Potter was, in many ways, similar to his father. Troublemaking, always sneaking in and out of the school and getting a lot of detentions and points out, almost always from him. And it wasn't like he enjoyed giving her detentions, but she just seemed to not get it and keep doing what she wanted making it difficult for Snape to stay out of her path.

Lily had no idea that a Professor would be coming out to do their patrols and she had been here now for four years now so she couldn't say she had lost her way to her dorm room and she clearly had known she was out pass curfew. She knew she'd either lose points or deserve a detention. She stopped though when she heard someone clear their throat and it sounded a lot like Professor Snape. She stopped and turned around to face him with a look of defeat. "Harry Potter is my father! So I guess it does run through my blood Sir!" she said with a small smile. "And I'm proud to be a Potter!" she said with a smile on her face.
She looked at him. "You're going to let me decide how many points?" she asked him for a moment. "Have you lost your mind?" she asked him for a moment. "I'm the student you're the Professor you're the one who's supposed to be taking the points away but since you're leaving it up to me five points!" she said for a moment. "And no detention!" she said with a small hopeful smile. She didn't really like his detentions much it seems to no matter what detention he had given her it never worked anyways! She was always doing something wrong.

Snape's smile dissapeared when she decided to answer instead of saying sorry and wait for his decision to be done. It reminded him a lot of James and Harry Potter and he tried to suppres the sudden fury in his eyes. I don't need to be reminded. I can see it in the way you speak, Potters had been always so insolent. Snape answered with displeasure tyring to remember he couldn't give her detention just for being who she was. If she would only leave it at that maybe Snape wouldn't have pissed off so much but as she answered back he took his decision.
She never seemed to stop getting into trouble, never minded how many detentions he gave to her. I'm not, by any means, allowing you to speak me that way Miss Potter and much less giving you the choice of the points I'm going to take from you He said now letting all his anger free, she was so much like his father Snape had always trouble trying to be fair with her. She smiled hopefully at him and he scolded at her with his cold black eyes. and your hopes are in vain, you won a detention for sneaking into the castle pass curfew and to speak to a teacher like that, and 10 points less to Gryffindor. He smiled satisfied though he knew she would be doing it again in no time. His hopes of getting her to understand rules were not to be broken were as vain as her of not getting a detention.
