(ooc: sure, i just thought this would be a cool place for a plot, since it's described as 'uninteresting')
Brick looked around the corridor silently, a bit disappointed that he didn't see a target right away. True, they'd only arrived at this location about two minutes ago, but Striker was all pumped and ready for action. Waiting even for a short amount of time was almost impossible for him in situations like this. Plus, this wasn't an ordinary mission, he'd actually thought this one up. It was definitely one of his better plans, even if that wasn't saying too much. Even their Queen had decided to join in.
He looked over at his two companions. There movements could be a little more open, due to the Notice-Me-Not Charm they'd cast over themselves so a Professor or Prefect would catch them out before they'd even done anything. Reagan Greyback had come along, which wasn't surprising since she was Nemesis' best friend. Along with Skylar Song, but she hadn't come for whatever reason. He couldn't see their Mistress all to clearly, but that was a good sign. She'd cast a Disillusionment spell over herself, so she was barely a blur in the shadows.
"We might want to stop here." Brick said quietly. They'd walked up from the Dungeons to the first floor. It was a stupid floor, with stupid History, stupid Herbology, and worst of all Muggle Studies. Still, it was strategically a good place. It was close to the Dungeons, without actually being in the Dungeons (he really didn't expect Angels to be so stupid as to wander down there), and it was a hall you had to pass to get to the Ground Floor from the upper levels. He wasn't to eager to pass by the Defense classroom on the next floor either. DADA was his best class, so really, Professor Hart was the only teacher he got on with.
"I think we ought to just wait a bit. If we keep moving around, we might miss some people." He said turning to his two comrades. His face lit up in a grin after that generally serious proclamation. He really couldn't hide his excitement, "You all ready?"

Recently everybody within the castle had been in tension. No one seemed to get along, and no one wanted to get along. People knew things others didn't and they'd keep it to themselves. There were only three alliances in the wizardry world: dark knights, secret angels and of course, neutral. Within the school, people knew that there were secret angels running around as well as dark knights. You'd never be able to pin point who they were though. You could look at someone and assume they were, but you would never really know for sure if someone was a secret angel or a dark knight. Lately you got quite a lot of gryffindors in the dark knight alliance group and some slytherins ever let their house down by swapping sides.
A plan had been put together by the dark knights. Three dark knights were to cause at least some damage to anyone who dare cross there path. It was a solid plan, of course if a professor was to show their face, Reagan would leave immediately. She had enough detentions as it is to get another one. Herself, Brick Stykr and Nemesis Riddle were the ones who would cause this attack. Reagan and Nemesis were good friends, they had been friends since Nemesis had started school here. Reagan was the oldest one here at the moment, which gave her the upper hand in some way. Even though she was the oldest, she was still not in charge and she never would be.
Each of them had cast a spell on themselves, which was confusing for Reagan since she'd rather want her victim to remember her face, that way, no one would mess with her. No one ever did but, this would be a added bonus. They had planned to stay on the first floor, the nearest floor to the dungeons so they could make a quick escape if the plan back fired. Hopefully nothing would ruin their plan, but in the back of her mind, she knew it wasn't going to be easy. There would be one student who would retaliate to the spells, but they would get hurt to a certain extent even with the help of their wands. No one could beat a dark knight, and they certainly wouldn't get away with it.
The trio stopped and Reagan looked around. Gently she sniffed the air and could only smell the scent of Nemesis and Brick. If someone came on the first floor, she'd be to first to know. Thankfully with her werewolf senses, she was able to smell things much stronger than her two friends, and her hearing was stronger, this was a advantage for all three of them, but only Nemesis knew of her history of being a werewolf. Right now, she couldn't smell any sign of life. A disappointed sigh left her lips as she looked around where she was stood. Brick was right, if they all carried on moving it was a possibility that they'd miss their target, well Brick and Nemesis would, but if Reagan could smell another scent, she'd follow it, but that would give up the game for her. That would look suspicious to Brick, and she didn't want everyone knowing she was a werewolf, she'd let them think it, but she'd never admit it to anyone but her close friends.
Turning her head she looked at Brick and nodded, "I'm ready." She spoke quietly while twirling her wand around between her fingers. They wouldn't know what hit them, and Reagan was going to show whoever, that the dark knights were in charge and this was a serious attack, the trio would cause injuries.

Post by VEDETTA GENEVIEVE LAROCHE on Oct 24, 2010 23:15:41 GMT
The second floor was packed with people and the reason was Myrtle's Bathroom was in its usual time, people from all houses were there talking with their friends, sharing their mornings and gossiping and Vedetta was just getting out the crow. She was smiling, happy to share some time with friends and taking a break from styding, lately she had a lot of things to do because she had been such a lazy at the start of the year that now she was trying to save some of the lost time.
Some people will think Vedetta was quite, but she really wasn't. The thing was it was taking a lot of time to get used to the new school and style of living. In France things were so much different and not only because her school was for girls only, which was definetely something, but because there were no houses and points and competetions between them of any sort. She could notice the tension between the houses, specially her own and Slytherin people. The only fights in her old school were about grades and beauty, superficial in the extreme but that was the way they were taught. To be ladies and behave.
Vedetta walked toward the empty corridor no one ever used, people called it weird but she never understood the reason, she found it relaxing, having a place to be alone and think about all the new information or try to find answer for her questions. After a good hour or more of non-stop chatting she felt she needed to clear her mind with some peace and the best way to get it was the corridor. She sat on the floor under the window, allowing her mind to go blank and relax with the silence of the place. Those days had been hard and busy and everything but she was quite comfortable in the castle, more than she thought she will ever be, the school was good, the teachers weren't that bad and the guys... were something new to try.
The sky was getting darker as she watched the wall in front of her change colors. She picked her bag besides her and got up to go to the tower talong the cut by the corridor. The tension was almost toucheable in the castle, houses were growing more apart and that had even been noticed in the reunion place of the bathroom. She wondered what in the hell was happening but then she thought all those nerves and tension were because exams were getting closer and that was a pretty good reason to be all nervous and tense and have fights with everyone around you, even she had some when she was frustated with her studies and homework, probably would calm down soon, but just in case she was always trying to avoid the crow in order to be out of trouble.

(ooc: alright, i'm going to very selfishly post again, since i think things need to begin a bit before characters have an excuse to be here. we still need nemesis riddle, cassandra bludd, & teddy lupin to post before we can move onto phase two. <3)
It was one of his downfalls that he was impatient. Waiting had never appealed to him, for anything. It was why his worst classes where Potions and Herbology. Both of those things required time and patience, pouring a bunch of water and plant food never worked out well in the Green Houses, and adding all the ingredients at once absolutely never worked in Potions. Snape had ignored it in class for the most part, really, just because he was a Slytherin - but he had a feeling their Head of House really really hated him. Deep down.
But still he couldn't help it. He was a hasty type of person. He wanted to do things immediately, even if he knew they were supposed to take time. Many of his Housemates had called his tendency to jump the wand a Gryffindor trait, which got him a bit flustered, but there wasn't much he could do about it. He was just the way he was, he was never all that good at acting differently than how he felt.
He looked around the hallway again - deserted. Would there really be no Angels out tonight? Well, that would really put a damper on things, he wasn't sure if he could convince his comrades to come out and do this again if they didn't see results tonight. He was about to suggest moving somewhere else - maybe, the Gryffindor Tower? It was enemy territory, but they'd definitely find a few lions sneaking around there. Of course he would have to convince his fellows why it was worth all of that risk. And it wasn't.
Fortunately, he was saved from that conversation by the sound of someone coming down the corridor they were currently hiding in. He wasn't the first person to notice, but he definitely wanted to be the first person to react. He waited until the girl was in sight. She was a Gryffindor (their primary target anyway) but he didn't know much about her except the red and gold patch on her uniform. So, of course, he couldn't tell if she was an angel. But that was the plan anyway, right? So he felt, as a Knight, he might as well play it on the safe side. That and he was itching to cause some damage.
"Impedimenta!" He said excitedly, the Notice-Me-Not Charm dissolving with the sudden motion. His Mistress' Disillusion Spell held up fine, though, so it didn't worry him a bit. The spell, of course, was meant to impend her journey to... where ever she was going, and it did - but his enthusiasm might have been a bit too much. The spell also hit one of the suits of armor that lines all of Hogwarts halls, making the whole thing tumble over in a loud, metal, clanky mess. Brick winced, maybe just using a Binding Hex or something would have been better, he'd actually tried using a normal spell to avoid making too much noise. Now he just hoped a teacher hadn't heard him.
Of course, he thought, thinking ever on the bright side even as he looked back a bit guiltily at his companions, maybe a couple of Angels heard the noise and would come to investigate? Then they could finally get this party started and he wouldn't have to wait anymore.

__________________________________________________ the devil tips his hat to me > ALL BECAUSE I'M EVIL < __________________________________________________
Tonight was the night the Dark Knights ere finally going to put Brick's little plan to hex and curse as many Angels and other targets who weren't in Slytherin or the Knights into action. Nemesis quickly changed into comfortable clothes, or at leas what she thought was comfortable clothes, and went to meet her fellow Knights who were participating in the event on the dungeon floor. The gang were going to work their way up until they reached the seventh and final floor. When she arrivedat her destination, she found Brick an Reagan there and already waiting. She didn't say anything, knowing that it was only going to be just the three of them, as she allowed the Notice-Me-Not spell to be cast over her. As soon as the spell was applied, they began.
The first floor of Hogwarts was the first floor to be raided, Brick had decided, and Nemesis had quickly agreed that it was the best place to start, so they could work their way up the castle s it was easier to hex and curse more students without arousing any suspicion. A grin immediately came to her face when Brick grinned. She couldn't help it eally, seeing him happy and so excited made her smile. It obviously had something to do with that the fact that she had the biggest crush on him ever, she was almost, almost in love with her childhood best friend. Unfortunately, he wasn't noticing. "Sounds like a good idea to me," she said, with just as much enthusiasm. "I'm ready!" she exclaimed, and puleld her wand out of her pocket swiftly and gracefully. Every one of her actions held grace, even when she was in a bad mood.
Nemesis noticed that someone was coming down the corridor, and she was not the only one to spot the Gryffindor wandering dangerously close towards their hiding spot. She recognized the sixth year as Vendetta Laroche, a girl that she'd frequently seen in her classes, mainly Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions. Other than having her as a classmate, she knew nothing of the girl. Before she could make any kind of move of her own to hex the girl down, a spell was shot from the tip of Brick's wand. Unfortunately though, it didn't hit its target, instead hitting a line of suits of armor that tumbled to he ground as soon as the spell hit them. The loud noise did not make her jump, nor curse, not even flinch. She just casually flicked her wand a few times, replacing Brck's Notice-Me-Not spell and cleaning up the mess he'd made.
If she was positively honest, she thought that Brick's spell hitting the wrong target was a good thing. The more noise that was made, the more Angels would come down to stick their big noses in and turn into the legendary muggle detective from the eighteen hundreds, Sherlock Holmes. Gryffindors and Angels had a bad habit of investigating and doing things without thinking twice, and so making as much noise as possible was a good thing. Nemesis thought, of course, that they'd have to get rid of Laroche first, before she ran off o tell any of the Angels what had happened. It was possible that the Gryffindor had spotted Brick when his charm had come to an end when he'd shot a spell, and if she had, then their cover could be blown. Then again though, on second thoughts, would Laroche staying safe for the next few minutes help bring in more Angels? Maybe!
